The
Indian cultural art forms, rich in essence and heritage are regularly
perfomed in the indoor auditorium by the best artistes of Kerala
Kalamandalam. Major art forms performed are:
KATHAKALI,
a dance drama based on episodes from the epics, the Ramayana and
the Mahabharatha.
KOODIYATTAM,
many Sanskrit plays completely or partially presented by Chakyars
enacting the male roles and Nangiars taking female roles and
rendering verbal acting in stylised Sanskrit and Prakrit.

MOHINIYATTAM,
the dance form of the celestial temptress, OTTANTHULLAL,
a dance form of quick movements interpreting stories from the epics,
BHARATHANATYAM, one of the oldest classical dances originated
from Tamilnadu, KUCHUPUDI, a dance performed
about the striking episodes of Lord Krishna by the dancer through
poetic gestures.
